Cala Pi

Tucked into a protected corner of the island, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and a soft blanket of sand, Cala Pi is enveloped by rocky landscapes and a dense pine forest, giving it a rustic charm that nearly hides the nearby buildings.

Cala Pi at a Glance

Cala Pi is located in Llucmajor, in the very south of Mallorca. Only 45 metres (147 feet) long and 140 metres (459 feet) wide, it’s one of the island’s smallest yet most stunning spots. This beach stands out for its raw beauty, rebellious spirit and remarkably untouched surroundings.

In the vicinity of the beach, you can still see the remains of an old 17th-century watchtower. Originally built to protect the area from possible pirate attacks, now it's the perfect spot to enjoy amazing views of the coast.

You can take advantage of your visit to Cala Pi and visit the nearby prehistoric settlement of Capocorb Vell. As one of the best-preserved Talayotic settlements on the island, it's an ideal place to immerse yourself in the history of Mallorca.

Pleasant but Crowded

Cala Pi is one of the best beaches in Mallorca, but that reputation comes with a trade-off. During peak season, its popularity draws plenty of visitors, which can make it feel a bit crowded.

Despite its rugged character, in the surroundings of the cove, you can find several restaurants and a small beach bar on the sand.
