Cala Mesquida
Shaped by shifting dunes of fine white sand, stretching from a dense pine forest and plunging into the clear waters that caress the coast, Cala Mesquida has a surprising natural beauty that makes it one of the best beaches in Mallorca.
Along the Shore
Cala Mesquida has two sides: on the right, visitors find a beach made up of dunes and pine trees with an old watchtower, lending it a wild and rugged character. On the left, the beach becomes a residential area, where you'll find many tourists coming to enjoy the fine white sands and tranquil waters.
Measuring 300 metres (984 feet) long and 130 metres (426 feet) wide, Cala Mesquida in Mallorca often gets crowded, but thanks to its size, it's easy to find a corner “far away” from the crowds.
The beach at Cala Mesquida is characterised by its constant winds, creating big waves, which is why it's one of the best beaches in Mallorca for surfers.
You can reach Cala Mesquida by car, and there's a free car park very close by. Its amenities make it a very pleasant beach day experience with a beach bar, sun loungers and parasol rental service and sports facilities.
