Cala Comtessa at a Glance
Cala Comtessa (also known as Comtesa or Comptessa) is surprisingly located within a residential area. Despite this, it maintains a wild and peaceful feel, thanks to the surrounding pine trees and rocky landscape. One of its standout features is the small protected islet of Sa Caleta, located just 200 metres from the shore (656 feet) from the shore.
Because of its proximity to Palma, Cala Comtessa can get quite crowded in the summer months, as it’s easy to access and popular with both locals and tourists.
Size isn’t everything when it comes to Cala Comtessa. Though it’s a small beach, it offers plenty of amenities, including showers, sunbed rentals, and a beach bar for a refreshing drink or snack.
How to Get to Cala Comtessa
Getting there by car is easy—there’s a small free car park nearby. You can also reach it from Palma by bus in around 20 minutes.
